My name is Holley Jacobs and I am an Entrepreneur, Social Media Visionary, and a deep passion for all types of artwork.   I enjoy abstract and unique photography.   I love using my creativity skills to create original pictures and paintings.   I may even inspire others which is my main goal.   I was blessed to have others inspire me and wish to 'pay it forward'.   I believe 'Life Is...' - a journey into an unknown that, although we may not be sure of where that road will take us, should not deter us from our travels.   We should face all obstacles and...more

Help Me Help Others

Lincoln, NE - November 15th, 2013

My name is Holley Jacobs and I enjoy helping others especially if it involves the arts. I have put together two Christmas themed boards that I will donate 100% of my proceeds from to a nonprofit of the buyer's choice. I will also donate the money in the buyer's name. I have items on Fine Arts to sell but I have other items on my other art website at http://www.holleyjacobs.biz. I do hope that you check them out and find something you like or a great Christmas gift for a family member. How about getting those Christmas cards done early this year. Thank you for your time and please pass this message on. I really would like to give back to the communities that rally around us all when we need them, wouldn't you? I hope you all have a great holiday! Be safe and be good! Santa is on his way. Regards, ~ Holley Jacobs

Lincoln, NE - July 12th, 2013

July 12th, 2013 PLEASE PLEASE check out my website, find something you love, purchase it and 50% of MY PROCEEDS will go to the charity of the buyer's choice. This does NOT only apply to my newest album and blog post (see below), ALL purchases are included in this promotion. I love volunteering and this is my way of giving back. Won't you give back too? It is a win-win situation for everyone. You get a beautiful piece of artwork, your favorite charity receives a donation (in your name), and I get the satisfaction that you felt my creative artwork was good enough to hang up in your home. I haven't painted eyes in quite a while. I have slowly built the most beautiful results that you see in my newest gallery Summer Time. Eyes are the one place you can look at someone and know their intentions, goals, determination, honesty, and trust that establishes their character. I also love paintin...

Miss Daily Art Makes Me Feel Better

Lincoln, NE - May 28th, 2013

On the anniversary of my Granny's passing I made two galleries. The first one I published yesterday. The gallery was called "Going Nuts" because I was so upset. I do not know what made me feel this way other than it gave me the creative designs in that particular gallery. This gallery "Miss Daisy Art" is how I felt by the end of that day. My Granny loved flowers so I decided to take my sorrow and turn inward. This gallery is the results of that inward reflection. Regards, ~ Holley Jacobs

Going Nuts Gallery Uploaded

Lincoln, NE - May 27th, 2013

Yesterday was the anniversary of my Granny's death. I had a really rough day. The only point of the day that made me feel better was when I created this Gallery as well as the Gallery called Miss Daisy. I started off the day "Going Nuts" hence - the title. Later I started to remember some good memories instead of how much I missed her and completed Miss Daisy. She was famous for pointing out flowers all the time while we were driving; distracting me and scaring me when she would scream "Look at that!". But I still miss her and love her. I feel her all around me and I am happy for that. RIP Granny 4-4--34 to 5-26-06. MISSED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN! Regards, ~ Holley Jacobs

April Is Autism Awareness Month

Lincoln, NE - April 19th, 2013

This is one of many ways that I am trying to raise awareness for Autism. April is Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month and each year I do something. Usually it is a video but this year I decided to make an album and offer 100% of my proceeds will go to the Autism Charity of the buyers' choice. Then, after being extremely inspired by "Autism Awareness", I designed "The Eyes Have It" as well as making adjustments to each photo to allow for buyers to make a collection of the images. I will donate 100% of my proceeds until the end of May 2013. Please take me up of my offer and not only get a creative piece(s) of art but help raise donations for Autism. Regards, ~ Holley Jacobs

Although my passion for digital art has made this crazy and chaotic life seem less overwhelming, I have been blessed with the addition of actually selling my first piece of art. I cannot begin to express my gratitude and excitement over this development. My graduation from college is within my site, continuing on to obtain my Master's is falling into place and now, my hobby; my release is appreciated by another. PURELY MAGICAL!!! Life Is Website Is Up And Running

Lincoln, NE - October 29th, 2012

Well, Finally after much time, dedication, and hard work, "Life Is..." - up and running. I have a lot more artwork to place on this site but couldn't contain myself any longer. I am pleased with the results and am so happy to be a part of this community. I have my Instaprint page up, my Fine Art America page up and now my newest web site up and running. I am looking forward to joining some groups and starting a blog here. I never thought in a million years that I had ANY artistic ability at all. I was the brainy, writer kid while my brother was the very gifted artistic one. But, put me behind a computer and feelings and emotions and things I have never experienced before come rushing to me in such a way, I have no choice but to comply. It is almost instinctual in a way. My final thoughts on this website: "I believe 'Life Is...' - a journey into an abyss that, although we may not kno...
